Meta Sr2 Targa Parking system on a GTI

Hi Guys, have any of you fitted this to your GTI instead of the 4 pimples, feedback from people who have used it say it works just aswell as a factory fit one, but a fraction of the price ( less than £100) and can be moved between cars.

Only questions I have are

- can I connect to the reversing light without upsetting the bulb warning system?

- where are the wires run within the rear for the reversing light given it's mounted on the tailgate.

- is there anything behind the number plate area of the rear bumper as u have to drill through to pass the wires into the car
