taffyboyo Posted April 28, 2006 Report Share Posted April 28, 2006 happeded last night, accelerated slightly then a pop sort of sound, then loads of black smoke out the back and a sudden loss of power, waited 90 mins for the aa man to have a look then put the pipe back on, bugger, could of done that myself if I bothered to have a look, then today the engine light came on, took it to a audi dealer and they noticed that because of they different ecu codes that it has been chipped (revo) they reset the fault code, tried to diagnose the problem but couldnt because I think it was only because of what happened yesterday with the intercooler pipe, charged me £120 for an hours labour, because it would not be covered under warranty because the car is not standard, they suggested buying an audi ecu from them or taking it back to the tuning garage that chipped it, I'm hopeing that its all ok now, but there does seem to be a bit more black smoke coming out of the back than usuall I'll leave it a couple of days and see how it goes, cheers Taff Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
