cruiser647 Posted April 28, 2006 Report Share Posted April 28, 2006 I have been running about in the fiancee's Bora TDi 115 for the past few weeks. My car is up at my mum's where the parking is free. Her's is more economical etc. So the other day, I go to check my car - wow!!! Runs great and after being in a TDi, getting back into my 1996 model A6 2.8Q is a revelation! I can corner again without wallowing, I can drive confidently with it's abilities! Great! Considering the years between the models, it is amazing that my A6 is still ahead of the Bora (imho). My A6 would have been based on either the 1992 Audi 100 OR the 1982 new model Audi 100 with the low drag. Her Bora is based on the 1997 Golf! What a difference. (plus the great V6 sound!) mccombie_5 Posted April 28, 2006 Report Share Posted April 28, 2006 Yes, it works at the shitty end of the scale too, for example my dad takes the Trooper to work for a week once in a while when 'er indoors is on holiday and wants the car and apparently its like getting in a Porsche getting in the Vectra.
