Waitey
Can anyone recommend an exhaust back box for my Passat 1.8T. There is nothing wrong with the one i have, i would just like it if possible to sound a bit meatier, but dont want an exhaust the size of a tin can. Is this possible to do on the cheap or at all? pugboy
I wouldn't bother unless yours is shafted. I doubt it will add any ponies and dont forget the back bumper will require cutting.
Waitey
Its not really for extra power, i just want a better sound. There is one on the Milltek website where you dont have to cut the bumper, so i will see how much it costs. Probably too much. Wobby i am to old to be a Chav and i cant afford all that expensive jewellery they wear so discretley about their person.
pugboy
If you are not cutting the rear bumper then if you have a visable tailpipe wont it sit really low? Got any pictures?
Waitey
Here is a picture, i think its on an estate. I am waiting for a price for it.
pugboy
Yeah looks like the tailpipes are angled down. Strangely that car in the pic seems to have the same tyres (front and back) as mine, weird.
Waitey
Not sure how i feel about it now. I think i would like to see a pic showing the whole back of the car first. Like you say the pipes might look a bit odd so low down.
