Guest slittley Posted May 11, 2006 Report Share Posted May 11, 2006 Are you sure it's the window rattling and not something else? Rattles in cars can be very deceiving. They can often be coming from somewhere quite different from where they seem to be coming from. Does it stop if you apply pressure to the window with your hand? A3Floyd Posted May 11, 2006 Report Share Posted May 11, 2006 dont put vaseline on them! If they're rattling, then there's nothing wrong with either the channels or the window rubbers. They have a felt covering to stop the window rubbing which can produce a noise similar to a rattle. if the felt is buggered in some way (excuse the technical term) then this could be the problem.
