stevie_d
IIRC the figures you're looking for are: PCD - 5X112 and ET - 32-
steveuk
Thanks Stevie, I thought the ofset was fixed? hoping to fit 8x19" wheels
stevie_d
19 will be fine, but I think 8's will rub iirc. You could always put spacers on, but I don't like to recommend that as it will put more pressure on the hub.
BenjyGTI
[ QUOTE ] Does anyone know the correct pcd and ofset for thr mk5 gti? Thanks [/ QUOTE ] Sorry to say, but I think you'll find your wheel choices are rather limited, as I am finding out, mainly because.... the bolt pattern is 5 x 112 as stated, but the offset is a whopping 51!!!! I know because I tried my brothers new 18" A8 Alloys on my GTi (his car is a MkIV Golf) and they are offset 35, and they stuck out from my arches a good 15 mm, so lowering would be impossible, not to mention a failed future MOT for having wheels sit proud of the arches. Also, whilst I had my BBS 18" Monza's off to try on the A8 wheels, I checked inside the back, and sure enough, ET51, I think I am correct, sure someone will be along to publicly shame me if I am wrong
steve_h
the standard offest is 51 on the monza wheels. The range is anywhere from 42 to 51 depending on the wheel design. I have new RS4's on mine which are 18"x8". They were supplied as ET45, but when they came they were actually ET42. I put one on and they stuck out very slightly. I got the wheel supplier to use a specialist to machine them to ET45 and they are now fine. It does depend on the wheel design though as I have heard of people with the original RS4 design and 45 offset which stuck out. It can be a bit of a minefield though. Best thing is to go to a specialist who knows what they are talking about. I got mine from wheel base near Manchester. Steve Steve

Been looking into those myself as they are one of the few wheels I like that comes close to the original ET51 offset, seen them online for £1599.99, which seems a good price to me?
