djcool
I've been reccomended the Meg 3 step cleaning, but looking at it, Step 1 is the cleaner, 2 is the polish and 3 is the wax... Would using the clay bar remove the need for step 1? Ie- Wash Clay Bar Wash Meg Step 2 Meg Step 3 I'm a nebie!
WHIZZER
in a word no, the clay lifts the Bonded Contaminants, the cleaner prepares the surface ready for the polish
djcool
Fair play, how does the following sound? 1. Wash with Meg Soft Wash & lambswool mit 2. Dry with Waffle-Weave towel 3. Meg Quik Detailer & Clay Bar 4. Meg Steps 1,2 & 3 I'm a complete newbie, I do like to keep my cars clean but until recently that has involved a yellow sponge and a bucket of warm water with Turtle Wax

You'll be amazed with the results and it will be much easier to keep it looking amazing once you've put in the full hit !

Paddy_Driver
DJ... have a 2003 S60 2.0T myself and will be doing similar treatment to it in next week or two. Going to work on my wife's old 97 Civic first before we sell it, possibly using the Porter Cable but not sure the 3 stage is suited to machine application so will assess first. Best of Luck! Will compare notes in coming weeks Paddy
