lazerblue
Any Tsn'ers run a Boxter as there only car ? I am looking for a performance car that will also be able to cover 20,000 miles per annum. I realise it is not the most practical car in the world but given that I may have put the golf clubs on the passenger seat on occasions & pay to get Ikea flat packs delivered any other major drawbacks ? richy_uk
I'm on target to do just short of 15k miles when my 987 is 1 year old in June. Totally reliable and more practical than you may think. But don't get hung upon stuff like that, it's a car to be enjoyed. Btw, I play golf every weekend and Powakaddy goes in the rear boot and the clubs ride shotgun. If I don't use my Powakaddy, clubs will go in the rear boot, and they are in a staff bag. Have to put woods in first though.

Ben
[ QUOTE ] Use my 987S everyday. [/ QUOTE ] Me too. The only thing I miss is being able to chuck my jacket on the back seat My car has lots of toys and that certainly helps its useability. Cheers Ben

lazerblue
Glad to hear everyone's positive reaction. Cant wait for test drive , just have to resist drivng an Boxster S One thing the dealer mentioned was also the oportunity to go on a Porsche track day experience where you get the chance to enjoy the available performance to the full Sounds a no brainer but would be interested in any TSN'ers who have been to such a day? _Tone_
I would drive the S - I did and its amazing but from my point of view I am gonna get a 2.7 for now. I am going from a diesel golf so I am experiencing an outer body experience anyway! Cant wait now! T

My order is gonna be here in Sep/Oct. What spec have you gone for - my goal is to get something around the £35k as well although the quote for finance I have is actually £36500 at the moment!
