paul4954 Posted May 13, 2006 Report Share Posted May 13, 2006 I'm puzzled at the fact that castrol slx comes in so many different variants ie 503, 504, 505 etc. Can any inform me on which oil is the correct type to use? 4RingsDH Posted June 24, 2006 Report Share Posted June 24, 2006 Hi, Castrol longlife 3 is what we use in our workshops, and it covers most of the Audi range for AVS/longlife servicing. If i remeber correctly, it conforms to 503,504 and 50601. If your vehicle is 130 brake then it is not an AJM engine which uses a different oil altogether!
