How often(megs)?

How often would you:

a) claybar your car?

b) megs stage 1(cleaner)?

c) megs stage 2(polish)?

d) megs stage 3(wax)?

Don't want to do any of the steps too often and ruin the work from before. I was guessing that the claybar can be left until the paintwork loses its smoothness.

Not sure about the megs stages though, are all three advised to be done at the same time or what?

Clay every 6 months or when required

Stage 1 again every 6 months

Stage 2&3 when ever you want or when the paintwork stops beading or dulls a little

I was guessing about that for claybar but it was mainly the stage 1 as I didn't want to keep taking off polish and wax, plus the other two stages as I didn't know if it was a good idea to build them up without 'cleaning' the paint.

On another note, woke up today to find bird on bonnet, grabbed the quick detailer and microfibre and away it went, bird must have noticed my 6-7 hours of work on fri.
