Disabling Car's Auto Bulb Check ?

Evening!

I've not had much luck in the VAG-COM posts, so thought I'd try in here...

I've justed replaced my indicator bulbs on my 2004 A3 with LED types. Problem is, the DIS now beeps everytime i get in the car to let me know the bulbs have blown.

I know this is a common thing when replacing standard bulbs with LED's, and I know that if I fit a load resistor to each bulb, it'll fool the car into thinking there's no problem.

Is there a way of disabling this auto-check feature on the exterior bulbs?
