[Audi A3/S3] Does a remap affect resale price of S3

Would a remap affect the resale price of an S3? Also would buyers consider the car "thrashed" and therefore turn them off?

I think it would depend on the knowledge of the buyer. If they are familar with the forum, and the remap in question it wouldnt put me off.

However if you knew nothing about remaps you may indeed be put off.

Totally dependant on buyer perceval.

My first S3 was sold modded and indeed wanted modded.

When it came up for sale again, it was very much wanted in its modified form.

This is beacuse , like my current S3, it was well cared for, no expense spared, and all work was carried out by well respected tuners, with tried and tested remap and parts.

Thay said, you do have to find ~ that ~ buyer.

remapped doesnt mean thrashed.

Well cared for, allowed to correctly warm up, and cool down owners of tuned cars are very oftem even more fussy about their "baby" than a standard car owner.
