Markallain Posted May 22, 2006 Report Share Posted May 22, 2006 Seen some wheels but am told for the MK5: Offset for front is ET50 width 8x19 Offset for rear is ET35 width 8 1/2 x19 Does anyone know if this seems ok? I'd just expected offset to be the same all round and the width to be the same. If Oli or anyone else with 19's sees this post what are yours? I guess the suggestion might be to go for a smaller size at the front to stop any rubbing on full lock but I take it you've not had any probs. Still a bit confused about the different offset though. steve_h Posted May 23, 2006 Report Share Posted May 23, 2006 Mark standard offset for MK5 Gti wheels is 51 allround. I currently have new RS4's on mine which are 8x18" with an offset of 45 allround.
