crasher
My S8 does this. Audi have said that its the Alarm backup battery that is failing and will need replacing. Maybe the same on yours.

Gren
Mine's been doing this for around 6 months now. £150 was the quote for the new battery to be fitted! Didnt take them up on the offer. Not that bothered - the alarm still works but can now be disconnected from the battery. The immobiliser and steering lock will make sure it doesnt move though. slol
Had this on an a4 1.8t sport, problem was caused by the door switch not thinking the door was closed,so overnight the battery voltage was lower than it should be(which i believe is what triggers the beeps)with the door problem solved and the cars battery recharged overnight,it was cured. So try just charging your battery and see if this cures the problem,as batteries tend to loose charge after a certain age even if there are no other probs, hth
Kell
Must admit that mine started doing this a while back (as you'll read if you click the link above). However, I still thikn it's linked to the fact that my main battery was losing charge. Once my trickle charger was fitted, I had no further problems.
