I was under the impression that with my car being built in week 22 it should be build around the end of this month Just want to be sure so I can write it down in my work calendar Getting real excited now! puttling Posted May 23, 2006 Report Share Posted May 23, 2006 When I ordered mine, the salesman told me to ring him on a weekely basis and he would track it for me. I had a delivery date of 09/05/06 and it was about 5 weeks before this date the BIW (Body) was build and painted. A week later it went down the line for Trim and Mechanicals. mikemod Posted May 23, 2006 Report Share Posted May 23, 2006 I think the number you need is the commission number, which is a six-digit number. I got it off the dealer when I ordered, once the order was on the system. You then phone VW customer services on 0800711811 and they can tell you what week it is being built and where it is on the production line when it is being built.
