Paul
Just wondering. Is it wise to get tuned (ie AmD custom map, RR before and after) while we are experiencing this heat wave? surely it will affect the outcome, being mapped to this amient temp and humidity, especially on a rolling road? ie if mapped to it, it wont properly reflect the weather we mostly experience out on the road. just curious. gambba
In theory they should be taking humidity and intake heat into account when doing the remap, but also whilst on the rolling road they tend to use either large fans or air conditioner units to maintain cold intake temps. Personally I would give them a call to see how they compensate for such factors when doing a custom remap.
Wal
Paul, I don't think you will have any problems, AMD should already have the code for your car, its not like they have to start from scratch everytime. Tell me its not tuning on the fly!
