MikeeB
Guy at work has a 14. 16v Polo on a 2000/1 plate. His cambelt snapped the other day and I'm trying to find out if it is an interference engine or not. Anybody know? He's been quoted from somewhere just over £400 upto over £2k to fix it. (2k at the main dealer) He claims that the engine just died and that he heard no kind of nasty noises when it did. cheers - Mike

Tobes49
Remember not to dig the gasket out the rocker cover, it a 1 piece unit that comes complete with the alu part and will set you back another £150,
