9969
I was wondering if anyone could help ! I have a '99 1.8 T and was replacing some of the vacuum pipes that control the turbo system on my car. (The pipe was about 6-8 mm diameter and split) I have tried to get the metal "O" shaped rings that crimp to make an air tight seal - but can't seem to find a supplier any where , and the Dealer will charge me an arm and a leg (per clamp) Anyone know of a good supplier ? 9969
Not quite mate ! It's a small ring (like for your finger) that goes around the vacuum pipe - which you then push onto the metal pipe that you want to connect it to Crimp with a specila pair of pliers either side

Rustynuts
Local motor factors (Partco / Andrew Page etc.) should sell them? Hose crimps are what they're called.
