eolair Posted July 29, 2006 Report Share Posted July 29, 2006 couple of options: 1 - get a button-hole type lens with a wireless transmitter, mount inside air-vent pointing towards driver. Put receiver in house, and connect to video. Cheap, fiddly to install, requires vandal to get in and sit in driver seat. Plenty of online shops sell lens / transmitter / receiver. 2 - get high quality camcorder with nightvision (zero lux), mount on stand indoors pointing towards car. Expensive, may be obvious depending on how you can disguise it, and may not capture the vandal if they stay on the hidden off-side. Option 2 might work better if you can get neighbour across street to help, and put camera in their window. More likely to get a shot of the vandals, and may be less obvious car is under surveillance.
