RedRobin Posted July 28, 2006 Report Share Posted July 28, 2006 Replicas are always going to be cheaper but BBS have used new ground-breaking hollow wheel technology in designing and producing both the OEM 17" and 18" wheels. Given the speed and performance of the Mk5 GTI my advice for what it's worth would be NOT to save money on items such as wheels or tyres. That's only my opinion and it's obviously up to you.
