RobA3 Posted July 29, 2006 Report Share Posted July 29, 2006 Hi all I have a 1.8T 2001 A3, I recently changed the front pads & discs, I decided to change the rears while I was at it, I completely stripped the rears i.e removing the calipers & the old pads and the screw that holds the disc in place, but for some strange reason the disc would not come off is there any thing else I should have taken off to release the disc any advice would be appreciated. paul_tdi Posted July 29, 2006 Report Share Posted July 29, 2006 When you remove the disc worth cleaning all the old rust etc off and putting a thin layer of copper grease over the hub.
