Helodude Posted July 30, 2006 Report Share Posted July 30, 2006 I've got a 5 month old A3 sport with 7000 miles that has several interior rattles that only get louder. It used to happen only when I accelerated or braked, but now it's doing it all the time, even while parked. I'm convinced that it has something to do with the seatbelts because when I pull on the lower portion of the belt, it makes the noise, when I release, it makes the noise again. Also, there's a knock that comes from the front of the car on the right hand side. Quite loud, only happens once per drive, usually when I'm accelerating within the first five minutes of driving the car. Anyone else having these problems? ncr666 Posted July 30, 2006 Report Share Posted July 30, 2006 Hi 1. Our A3 2.0T FSI DSG had the same problem with both seatbelts. 2. The drivers footrest also used to squeak, several attempts by the dealer failed to fix the problem. 3.
