dogbucket Posted July 30, 2006 Report Share Posted July 30, 2006 I know of the two sorts of MFD that were made, the type G has the DSP settings, whereas the type D doesnt. But I cannot say for sure if DSP gives you those settings you mentioned as mine is a type D, so has definately not got them. dogbucket Posted July 30, 2006 Report Share Posted July 30, 2006 It was factory fitted, which of course means it has the full height FIS in the instrument cluster in which appears directional arrows and stuff when you are in navi mode. I think retro fitting the MFD is fairly straight forward, other than finding somewhere for the GPS antenna. The full height FIS is alot harder. TBH although the unit works well in practice (perhaps even better than a portable unit cos it gets additional speed data from the car) It does look fairly dated compared to the latest technology Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
