jon79f Posted August 1, 2006 Report Share Posted August 1, 2006 Being Winter in Aus at the moment, I have got into my car a few mornings, when the temp is about 4degrees celcius. When I get going, I hear a BONG, and a snowflake symbol appears on the dash. What does this mean - is it just for info, or does it change something about the car - like shift patterns, more intrusive Traction Control. I think it's a nice feature tbh. Especially on a long trip when it's relatively easy to forget to look at the outside temp display, when it chimes you know it's cold enough for ice.
