lup1n Posted August 2, 2006 Report Share Posted August 2, 2006 i HAVE A GOLF GT TDI 99 "T" Its done 70,000 but has recently developed a fault, driving at speeds, slowly,stationary it randomly cuts out (feels like key has been turned off) sometimes it will restart straight away sometimes not .. leave for at least 2 mins it usually starts.. been to dealer they couldnt find any error code.. anyone have any ideas.. thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rustynuts Posted August 3, 2006 Report Share Posted August 3, 2006 Relay 109. The main power relay for the ecu. They break down inside and start intermittently cutting out the car. Eventually it'll get to the point where it fails completely and you'll be stuck. They're a few quid or so from the dealer, and easy to fit.
