*Wanted* A4 Avant Spare Parts

Hi,

Some parts of the interior on my A4 melted in the heat we recently had so I am looking for replacements.

I have an Avant but the plastic parts where the load cover clips into either side of the boot have melted. I thought that I would only need to replace the plastic sections which run under the rear windows, but having spoken with Audi spares, was told that I have to replace the whole of the carpeted parts that cover either side of the boot as well as they come as one part.

My question therefore is does anyone have these as spares (unlikely) or know of somewhere that might (more likely). If nothing turns up I guess I will have to go back to Audi and pay their prices, but I thought it was worth a shot here first.

Can't help with any parts but suggest you try calling a few breakers to see if they can help. I think there are a few that specialise in VW/Audi. Also worth stating which year/model you have just in case anyone on here has some parts.

I have been trying a few breakers but no joy as yet. The car is an A4 Avant 2000 (V) with black/grey interior. If nothing comes up I guess it will be back to Audi.

If you have to buy new, speak to Martyn or any of the guys at www.vagparts.com and they should do a good deal for you. All original new parts

ps - Snail, at present I'm not living on the sun just sunny sunny Bedfordshire. I thought Audis were made of tougher stuff though.
