Waylander
28yr old woman; driving for 4 years as 2nd driver; took policy out in her own name last year but had a crash over winter [skidded on ice into a lampost]. Drives an X-reg Yaris, no no-claims Churchill renewal was £1200; Tesco apparantly £900ish and Admiral £600ish but she incorrectly said on the online form the accident was "not her fault" with "no other party involved". As I understand it, it does count as a fault claim so told her to correct her and get updated price..... Who would be a good company to get a price from? shark_90
Definately a fault claim - I hit a deer in April 2004 (my fault, obviously ) and then did the same thing in November, hit ice and hit a tree. It feels unfair, but that's the way it is.

pingpongpo
It was the lampposts fault for jumping out in front of her.
Waylander
Naa, it was the ice's fault apparantly, for being so damned slippery!

[/ QUOTE ] same company (and so are Bell Insurance), but for a single car Elephant are generally cheaper than Admiral only moved from one to the other this year because of a ridiculously good quote on a multicar policy - I had to phone up to check the mods had been included on both cars
