thefootster
I've just bought a 98 316 Compact, however, I need to change the nearside mirror glass. The previous owner must have worn a thick set of glasses - because when I look in it, its like looking through binoculars! On closer examination, the original mirror glass has been smashed & another (not so original) lense has been glued / applied on top. I've looked through the manual & it explains about heated and non heated electric mirrors, but I dont know if mine are heated or not. Does anyone know how I can check whether they are heated or not, as I want to replace the lense in it at the moment ASAP! Many Thanks!
