whitevanman Posted August 14, 2006 Report Share Posted August 14, 2006 I have just bought a VW Passat Sport TDi 130bhp (saloon), it has a radio/cassette head unit in the dash and a 6 disc multiplayer in the boot. I am unsure of the make of the multiplayer, as there is nothing written on it and nothing in the manual. I own a Creative Zen microphoto mp3 player, and would like to use this in the car. What do you guys think would be the best method? Is there a way I can use the mp3 player and still have use of the multiplayer, or is it just a case of "one or the other"? Many thanks in advance. v23 Posted August 15, 2006 Report Share Posted August 15, 2006 In my experience (same car and an ipod) it's one or the other if you want any sort of decent quality. There's no auxilary input on the stock stereo so you need to interface through the cd changer connection. Failing that you could get one of those 3.5mm jack to cassette tape jobbies or an FM transmitter. Belkin do an FM transmitter for the creative zens and the tape jobbies can be found all over.
