Retrofit Question (from newbie)

Sorry for the perhaps obvious question but will a Main Dealer retrofit cruise and dis?

They will retrofit Cruise Control - mine did for me and it cost me GBP300 all in.

Not sure about DIS but I think the dealer would probably try and tell you it needs a new instrument cluster - mine told me SatNav wasn't retrofittable but CraigyB did it in about 30-40 minutes...

Thanks CabBoy... I have called my local dealer they want to check what loom I have etc... first, though they did seem to suggest that they would do it either way would just cost more if they have to do much wiring, will see how it goes.

I'd love the nav install, how much did this cost?

I have also PM'd Shark_90 as I believe he is the authority on DIS/CC retrofit.

shark_90 is the best person to speak to for help. He helped me with mine for both cruise and DIS. I think the total cost all in was about 260 for all the parts from audi. If you speak to vagparts.com they should be able to save u a bit! PM me your number if you like and i will call you to discuss etc if you nedd any help and advice.
