Dan32
When swapping wheels over, noticed I've got 2 Ronal and 2 OZ. Warranty replacements? Also noticed the OZs were slightly bubbling on the inside of the rim yet the Ronals appear to be in better condition. Anyone else notice this? I'm guessing the OZs on mine were OEM and 2 were swapped by previous owner to Ronals after they started corroding. Damn shame I didn't notice it before warranty ran out
dogbucket
I have got 4 Ronals. But all I have noticed is that 2 have been badly refurbished and the fronts are still curbed from the previous owner The one still in original condition does look very nice however. Dan32
On the back of the wheel, around the hub area.
dogbucket
You have to take the wheel off and look at the back mating surface to see the name engraved. Although mine have got a small raised logo between one set of spokes, but I have never figured out what it says or even if OZ wheels have it as well. It may be unique to Ronal Wheels. Golfgirl
Some people have got a mixture of OZ and Ronal wheels because I think VW swapped manufacturer part way through production. Mine are all the same but I can't remember which make now! I'm sure there's a thread on here somewhere about it. I'll see if I can find it. Rachel
Yep - The wheels are interchangeable and pretty much identical. One guy down here in Oz got 3x Ronal and 1x Oz as delivered to him by VW. Mine has 4x Ronal BTW.

m4t
You might be able to get the corroded wheels swapped still, my bro in law is getting his 52 plate anni wheels swapped this week and it's not in warranty, i think he is paying 25% of the cost or something. Worth a go Mat
