S3Rob Posted August 18, 2006 Report Share Posted August 18, 2006 Seems BMW are going to make the 135 with the new 3.0 twin-turbo 306hp engine slotted in, according to GCF anyway. They've got the apparent spy pics as well. Audi what you gonna do? I don't think they'll be an RS3 in 8P shape but there will have to be for the next A3 generation if this is true. martin275 Posted August 18, 2006 Report Share Posted August 18, 2006 That's the worst 'spy shot' I've ever seen! It looks no different in that picture to a 116i M Sport, with its 17" wheels. Even the ride height looks wrong, ours is lower than that. It will be an interesting car though, the 130 is hardly slow and lacking in torque. I've read that the new engine, (which is based on the new direct injection engine not the std 3.0 litre) doesn't sound great on startup and at low revs. If that's true, then I'm not sure I'd choose one over the 130.
