Matt R Posted December 27, 2002 Report Share Posted December 27, 2002 Hi I am pretty sure the wheel alignment needs to be done on my S3, anyone got any experience of Elite in Rainham, Essex. They quoted me just short of £60 to do it. My local Audi dealer wants £160 to do it, Are Elite capable or is there somewhere better in Kent or possibly Essex? If you do go elsewhere make sure they do a laser 4 wheel alignment. You do know that the S3's do chew tyres more on the inside edge on the fronts than a standard car ?? Ive been told numerous times by many people that to do a CORRECT 4 wheel laser alignment on car takes at least half an hour to an hour plus they have a special lift that the car is put on which cost a fortune hence why not all garages can do this check!! Re RIZ: no u wont have to get your aligment checked every time u get a lovely puncture, only if you feel the car is pulling to one side or youve hit the kerb hard.
