Wobby
Car is a Passat 2001 130PD with 194k. My car is running ok but with a bit of lag low down the revs. Just had an injector electrical fault, changed the loom to the injectors and thats now fixed. Been out for a spin and did a log, after some information from other peoples logs if possible. My MAF actual is always considerably higher than my MAF specified. At idle the specified is 230 and the actual is always over 400. When reving high at full throttle the specified goes above 800 and the actual regularly hit above 1200. This all reads in mg/str. Are these readings normal? Anyone with logs to compare to? Another question . The ranges for specified and actual are 230-310 and 210-350 respectively. Are these ranges taken at a certain RPM? Was thinking they were based on the car at idle? Thanks
mb
Try here or unplug the MAF & see if the car runs better ?
Wobby
I'm not looking to find the MAF as a fault, just interested in other peoples logs. To see if the trends are the same. I think the link is for mostly petrol engines?
