Halo and Halo 2 must have got hours of play when I lived with a couple of best mates. After a crazy night out and we have passed out in a pool of Kebab on the floor, waking up to a game of halo was heaven...

Ahhh memories of a misspent youth, wouldnt trade it for anything! 169144-ok.gif

grin.gif 1000%, totally, absolutely agree with that shout - as close to perfection as is possible and in multiplayer it surpassed perfection. Fast to pick up, impossible to put down and never got bored of it notworthy.gif

grin.gif My uni days wouldn't have been the same without the allnight Goldeneye marathons 169144-ok.gif

Wasn't multiplayer!

Ultimate games had to be Rebelstar Raiders where all the blokes (who looked liked they were all lying on their sides on a top down view) looked liked they were carrying bass guitars instead of phaser guns. Oh and you would have great fun leaving time delayed grenades in plant pots.

The other awesome multiplayer game was Lords of Chaos. Game wasn't the best in terms of QA and if you cast some partcular spells (especially one called Turmoil) it would cause the Spectrum to go into a loop it never came out of. I know as I once waited 12 hours for it to finish suicide.gif

Just realised I'm talking about games that had their hayday over 20 years ago - probably older than 1 or 2 posters in the thread smashfreakB.gif

Does it have to be?

As someone who has never had any friends, I always preferred the single player games, which is why JetPac, Hungry Horace and Defender are also high on my list.

Oh, and Kevin Toms' original Football Manager. 169144-ok.gif

Good point!

Were you anything like me with FM and broke into the BASIC program to change the code?

I even remember the front of the case - big picture of a beardy bloke (assumed it was Kevin Thoms of course). I could however not quite fathom the results sometimes - if you played it enough you'd get to the point that you knew they were going to score before they did crazy.gif
