onegolf Posted October 19, 2006 Report Share Posted October 19, 2006 The ignition warning light does not come on when I turn the key - but when the engine is running it remains on dimly (regardless of engine revs). I have flattened the battery now - but when I jump start it starts fine - but the ignition light still does not light. Tobes49 Posted October 19, 2006 Report Share Posted October 19, 2006 Earth the blue wire on the back of the alternator with the ignition on, If the charging light lights up the alternator has broken and you will need another.
