graemep
Due to the impending purchase of a child seat, I have been checking both cars to see if they have had the isofix preparation..fortunately one does, unfortunately the other doesn't. The car that does not is the B5 model RS4, which I bought earlier this year - the manual suggests the isofix preparation can be retrofitted by a dealer, but has anyone had this done and, if so, how much? Scotty
I did it to my B6 S4 for about £80. Of course the B5 could be totally different.

The two brackets are: 8D0813545 8D0813546A Bolts are: 8D0837453 - You'll need 4. I know that these fit the A4 and A6, they probably fit other Audi models but it's best to double check. These bits came to £65 (with discount). Hope this Helps. Alex
graemep
Thanks for the responses...great news I assume the holes I felt when I was feeling around between the seats are the mounting points, and they are secured from underneath the car? nordberg
If you plan on using the front passenger seat, you'll need the airbag de-activation switch if you haven't already go it.
marty914
hello all. pardon my ignorance but does the kit http://www.audi-accessories.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=273 work for any A4 avant from 2001 onwards. Im not sure what the B6 + B7 codes mean.... i am looking for an Avant between 2002 and 2004 to buy, and find my choice limited by no isofix..... if I can put it in myself then I can go and buy anything!! thanks in advance, martin
paul_tdi
HI Martin, Welcome to the Forum! The B6/B7 relates to the platform base of the car. If you are getting a car that is late 2002 - 2004 it will be a B6 A4. HTH! Paul
S6Jonno
Evening gents, same question, 'can you retrofit isofix bolts' but to a C5 S6 avant? If so does anyone know what the part numbers? Thanks in advance, Jonathan
