kenny_boon
Hi all, is there a block on vag com that would allow you to tell how much air is flowing thru the airbox and filter? basically im wanting to see if an aftermarket filter is flowing much or any better than standard
Paul
Yes, should be dotted about around the blocks in more than a few places. 002 and 003 should show it. http://www.wak-tt.com/vagcom/vagcomamm.htm
kenny_boon
i take it the air mass will only change slightly?
Paul
changes alot with RPM and load. If you log it, the final peak air flow is a good indicator of any improvements. then when you look at the logs in excell you can see the maf air flow, against RPM I usually start off in 1st, and as soon as possible, shove the car in fourth, and do a pull, all the way to the red line. your obviously need a clear road, and one without spectators and cameras.
