sheridan
I've just bought an A3 3.2 and find the brakes incredibly sensitive. Can they be adjusted?
chiller
Have you seen the size of your discs? They're bound to be a bit sharp being that size, first time I drove my A3 I nearly put us all through the windscreen, you will get used to it.Beware of jumping in to other peoples cars and using the brakes, they will seem like they're not connected. Mollox
VAG cars all seem to be like this. You get used to it very quickly and modulate accordingly but there does seem to be a hell of a lot of servo action going on. As has been said, swapping cars is interesting! sheridan
Thanks for all your comments. For interest I drove international rally cars for 15 years with far bigger brakes but they at least gave the driver some braking "feel". It's the fault of the servo system. As you say - I'll get used to them.
