KevF
Readin through Practical Performance Car, I glanced at the David Walker tuning column and noticed he has a Dyno and EFI tuning business in Norfolk. As I want to do a few mods to the Saleen over the winter, he would be ideal as somewhere to take it and set the car up correctly. Anyone got any ideas of the business name and location? Cheers Kev
Botang
Dave Walker has a company called Emerald, which make fully mapable ECU's and have a rolling road as you rightly say. http://www.emeraldm3d.com/ Unit 6 Norwich Road Industrial Estate Watton Norfolk IP25 6DR 01953 889110
KevF
Many thanks for that. I shall give them a ring and see what they say. You are a star. Kev
KevF
Spoke with Dave and his Dyno only goes to 330bhp at the wheels. So got to look for a reliable rolling road again then.... Any ideas guys

Paul
G force motorsport in Aylsebury has one of the most accurate RR in the country IIRC. http://www.g-force-motorsport.co.uk website now points to... http://www.dsautomotives.co.uk/ Which states that So successful has DS Automotives become that they recently purchased G Force Motorsport, the long established Porsche and Japanese car specialists based on Edison Road, Rabans Lane in Aylesbury
KevF
Botang, Well the last dyno run was 434.5 bhp with 358.5rwhp. With the mods I am hopeful for 475rwhp ? fingers crossed Kev
Paul
not a problem for thier RR then. Also available is an 1800bhp Dyno Dynamics 4WD rolling road. As well as being used by ourselves when mapping vehicles, it can also be hired by individuals for ECU Mapping or by groups for Shootout Days at very competitive rates. KevF
Looks promising. Anyone been on it? I guess as long as the same RR is used, the variable between base run and after mod runs should be the guide. For every new RR I hear of there is one or two that slate it... kev
Paul
RS246.com had a day there and were impressed. it struggled with the haldex based S3's as the power was switched on/off to the rear, but im sure it could have been solved if we had more time, tied the cars down differently. KevF
LOL...not a problem with the Saleen Mustang...live rear end and traction control turned off.... went to Weston Performance Dyno with some Yankee car owner mates and they tied down a Ford Lightning truck...this made 410rwhp and nearly shot off the dyno and through the doors... took 6 straps to hold the big heavy truck down.. Paul
Fan looks small, but was blowing a hurricane, and the test cell itself was like an ice box. Very well ventilated.
