RedRobin
Personally, I'd keep the VW badge silver and just black the upper grill to match elsewhere: I'm sure I'd want to do this even without a Zender front.
Mook
Good chop job Dan With that close-up pic, it looks like some glued on chav extra you'd get at Halfords. Bleeeeeuk
RedRobin
I think that the Zender front looks like what VW should have done in the first place with the Mk5 .:R - It's much more in the spirit of the Mk4's big vents and looks far more sporty and aggressive. But I'm not into the stealth stuff. Chavvy body kits are far more extreme than this Zender front.
BrakeSnake
Well, for 279 Euro, it can be yours. Im sure it'd be worth the postage... Zender Styling

cjallaway83
Looks really really nice. Considering it for when I get my R. Does anyone know if it decreases the clearance from the ground? Also its completely glue on yeah? No drilling etc?
rs32
this is the thing that stops me doing styling mods like the Zender offerings. Gluing stuff onto existing paintwork just doesn't seem right

Gluing stuff onto existing paintwork just doesn't seem right [/ QUOTE ] ....On the subject of fixing: As anyone who visits the GTI forum will know, I'm just about to remove the 'black' (dark grey) plastic side valances and replace them with colour coded Mk5 R32 ones, and also swop my OEM 'black' front chin spoiler for a colour coded OSIR one....See: HERE The work is being done at the TTshop in Bedford and I've literally just had a phone conversation with them specifically about removals/fixings - I obviously wish to take no risks on this. The point is that I think it's 99.999% certain that the OEM fixing methods are the same for both the GTI and R32 Mk5s. They have investigated this for me and I have also independently checked with the Workshop Manager at my VW dealers and they each independently report that fixing both sides and front is 'bond 'n screw'. The bonding glue is heat softened for removal. I can't speak for Zender but I would hope that their product is a replacement front and not a 'stick-over-the-top-of' process. TTshop are very experienced with such things. Ooops!! Richard, have I just nudged you back onto the Slippery Slope of modding? [Tee Hee!]
