nksparky
I have a 2001 Bora PD 115 and it perfromance has dropped to the point where a horse and cart would be quicker. VAG COM is throwing up a Negative Deviation in boost pressure, which makes sense. I've changed the MAF and Boost Valve and no improvments. The weird thing is that performance is better (But no where near normal) if I disconnect the MAF. I'm not sure if the VAG Com error or not plugging in the MAF drops me into limp mode. The VNT actuator arm is moving but not sure if it's through the full range as I'm not sure how much it should move. I can hear the turbo spinning although there is a slight whooshing sound, which may suggest a slight air leak somewhere. Any ideas? It's booked into a local garage for next week and it would be good to know what they should check before they suggest going down the new turbo route. Mook
Check all of the pipes - had exactly the same problem on Mrs Mook's Passat 130 and it was a cracked pipe
