Henry52
I've had my R for 3 months now, during that time 3 sidelight bulbs have blown. So bought some LED's of e-bay and fitted them this morning. They sure do look good in comparrison to standard. 1 year/50,000 hours guarentee, can't be bad. jimmyp
I was running LED's but gave up in the end with them due to failure all the time, i'm now back with the standard bulbs, but want some reliable ones to get the good look back. Off topic-i have some reg's somewhere for you golfgirl

Henry52
I'm gutted, thought that was the end of my problems, how long did the LED's last. Cheers Henry
dogbucket
If it makes you feel any better my current LEDs have lasted over a year now. (and they are cheapo ones not the PIAA)
jaybarron
Hi, First post I've been lurking for a while. Had my 03 R for about 2 months now (loving it) and both sidelights are out. Looks like i have to take the bumper off to fit them. Is this right and does anyone have the destructions for doing so.
Decked
with the R32 Sheffr32 I got my LED's from www.ultraleds.co.uk and they have been really good (so far).
Henry52
dogbucket you do make me feel beter saying that. As for your question sheffr32 if you look on the "sidelights again" thread there are some instructions there. I can assure you that nothing concentrates your efforts at fitting them yourself like a dealer wanting just over £100 to do it for you. Good luck. 1monty
Ultra leds useless! 2 lots failed within 6 months, company not at all interested in replacing them unless I sent old ones back first! So either go around with no sidelights while waiting for replacements or do the replacing job twice!
