AvantSteve
Hi All, I'm interested to know if you're aware of any way to polish the scratches out of glass. I think it's going to be a tricky one, specifically without a machine polisher! What products would you recommend? It seems like there was some grit stuck in the seal for my windows and it's been enough to scratch the glass as they were put up and down. Thoughts please! ChrisBuer
I'd stick my neck out and say Autoglym Glass polish? It's pretty good stuff but then I'm sure Megs have something that's even better
NeilScarrott
You'll never remove scratches out of glass. You'll be able to clean it up nicely though. A good claying helps, a product like Einszett Glass Polish or Autoglym Glass Polish are good by foam applicator.
ahaydock
As above AG glass polish. Apply with foam pad and wipe/buff off with a microfibre.
McGee
Einzsett glass polish on a pc or rotary will clean it upp a treat. If they are wiper marks and not deep then jewellers rouge, think that is how it is spelt, will do a good job of removing them. Otherwise £50 and a hammer will get you a new screen. Gaz7
ClearKote Vanilla Moose Glaze is excellent on glass, applied via hand or machine. If the scratches are deep though, removal (using a stronger product) without hazing the glass will be tricky... I have used Jewellers Rouge before, but not on car glass, and not when the scratches have been too deep... Gareth
