Baldie
Does anyone know how many different combinations of the locking wheel bolts are available? Just I've heard that there are only 6 or so, which gives me the impression that the little pieces of out there who want to nick my wheels will probably have all 6 combinations on them !!! Just wondering wether or not to fork out for some "Proper" locking wheel bolts so as to be sure that wheels will remain with my car. Again any comments would be much appreciated. Thanks Baldie Only 317 hours and 3 mins left til I pick him up.
Gti_Fly
yep, only about 6 different types. Get some McGard locking nuts, Halfords do them. Mcgard make two types, ones with rotating collar, and one's without. the rotating collar type are even better, but I dont think halfords do them. Both are great, and cost about £25/set
RedRobin
There was a thread in the GTI forum a few months ago - A Search will probably find it. Some of us got ours delivered the next day! Increase your wheel security by using both OEM and McGards.
