Boring road tax

I have about 15 days of tax left on my current car and wondered whether I could get any money back on it? or is it only on a full calender months worth?

On the same note I am about to trade my .:R this weekend and wondered whether I had to pay for the whole of Feb on the new car even though I am only purchasing it this weekend (ie half way through the month)?

Many thanks in advance beerchug.gif169144-ok.gif

Cheers Oatz, for you just reminded me to get my car taxed online. For some reason you cannot apply for it online before the 15th of the month before it is due. I tried last week and it wouldn't let me. What happens if you are going to be on holiday?

Anyway, an absolute cinch in this modern computerised world. Don't even need your V5, MOT or insurance details. Glad I've never had to queue at the post office like people previously had to do.

Dead handy isn't it? I've just renewed mine over the Internet, this morning. I'd be happy to never go near the pikey main post office in Bedford again. 169144-ok.gif
