rottenbend
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Yeah, ditch the front fogs, and get those funky new zenon sidelights (or whatever they are) [/ QUOTE ] I wonder if those headlight units include a row of LEDs similar to those on the R8? It looks as though they might from these pictures. [/ QUOTE ] It certainly looks like they do - will really make the car stand out IMO
S3Rob
Not too sure about this in standard form. The front looks too square and the back too styled. There are also too many design 'cues' ala BMW. It could look very nice in S or RS form though. Plenty of room for sideskirts, big wheels etc. And if it's got R8 sidelights I'm sure it will drive well too seeing as it's on the new platform. Alastair_A3
Thats a real stunner Only small detail i dont like is the way the interior door handles slope down abit like in the 5 series, although this has been updated on the facelifted model i think. Its going to be really expensive isint it? Bugger all is standard on Audi
Sparky
£27k apparently. Although not sure what engine that is.
jimdiesel
£27K is a speculative price for the 2.0T and 2.0TDi I would recon on £35K for a basic 3.0TDi. I know the heavily optioned dealer launch cars are high 40s. But these have B&O hifi plus most other stuff.

Agoogy
looks Bland to me, no nice details to capture the eye, FAR too big..perhaps they built it for all those disappointed 407 coupe buyers who wanted a 2 door coupe bigger than the 4 door, but needed some build quality with it. Its prettier than the 3 series...but Audi can do better than this IMO
J_C
They built it because they had to. Audi have been without a mid-size coupé in their range since the B4 version went out of production in 1995. Their competitors (BMW and Mercedes) have not. J_C
I guess that answers the LED question! Someone at Audi AG is going to get a right kicking if these pictures have all been unofficially leaked this far ahead of the launch!

Someone probably put the pictures on there but didn't make them public but someone found them anyway. I'll take an S5 in Daytona

rottenbend
Now the question is that given the size of the car will the S5 have the 350HP FSI V8 and the RS5 have the 414HP RS4 lump or will the S5 get 400HP and the RS5 the 5.2 V10? Plenty of room for a V10 under that bonnet I'd say...
CarMad
Interesting.. not sure I'm blown away. It gets an it looks ok nothing mega special IMO. I think the front looks very TT when I saw the first photo thats what I thought it was. Will have to see what they are going to try and squeeze out of us but its not a great pull from the heart for me. Mind you I do like my Saloons. a3malawimatt
nice looking but not blown away by the front, interior looks a bit complicated but is still nice and audi. Audi could have done a much better job of the front though, it looks like it will age very quickly. It may well be one of those cars you need to see in the flesh though. mark88
If you stand it next to the 3 series coupe, it's a total rip off....

CarMad
Wow how close do those look to each other, and people say bangle got it all wrong.... There are aspects of both I like but neither one is significantly better than the other IMO.
mark88
Here's a side view: http://www.fourtitude.com/news/uploads/Audi_News/a5_coupe.jpg which shows off the wheels. ...really does look too long to me. Probably too long for me to consider. Looks like a CLS and a 3 series coupe had a baby.
