DanG
Check out Enterprise. They can get you pretty much what you want with a little warning and they are cheap too. Watch big pick ups, most are not 4x4 and they handle terribly and with a live rear axle and no traction control, even low speed turns can get the back end out in the dry... I had a Dodge Ram 1500 (terrible!) and then an F150 4x4 (slightly better).... great for moving sofas and towing boats, but terrible to live with.... and forget parking! I would go for a Mustang Convertible....... particularly on the west coast.
DanG
In NJ its currently $2.55 for the cheap stuff or $2.90 for premium. As its a hire car, always use the cheap stuff!
