RedRobin
Great meet as usual at this venue. It's the first time they've screwed up the service I think - I think I'll put in a polite phone call to the manager later today just to point it out to them so they are more aware next time. The food was very good though - My swordfish steak was really excellent and one of the best I've tasted. Sam was fast turning into a raging bull elephant about his food not coming, and J_C was ironically the very last person to be served! He was positively wasting away . Nice to see a Candy white GTI close up. Whose is that immaculate and classic BMW Alpina? I was meant to get up at 5am for a flight but it got postponed - Instead I got up at 11am . RedRobin
I guess I must have been so taken by the first one that I missed the other. Also I was on a mission to buy some Viagrasol from a dodgy geezer with a van load in the back of the car park. I haven't tried it out yet.
Chrisg
[ QUOTE ] SOrry I had to drop out guys, had an incident with a high kerb and a 20" alloy which isnt looking too pretty now, plus the cost of a new PS2 tyre. [/ QUOTE ] bet it wasn't the same wheel that you had already curbed last time ! The Alpinas were MarkV8 with the newer version & Pete with the older version.... really nice to see such cared for cars, and the sound as they left along the A30, they even got caught at the traffic lights just south, where I have to turn off right....... so I had to endure the noise again ! steve2
stevie d, was that you behind my A4? in the nice trundle home!! As we left i think i think i left 60 yards of my rubber on the road chasing the convoy, i think there were a few drivers out there who could not believe how fast roundabouts could be taken. My ears have stopped ringing now afte following Chis's Monaro on the way up and then following Paul's 997 all the way home, music ??? who needs it. I must say the two workmen in the outside lane of the motorway really could do with some new hi-vis jackets. look forward to next month, maybe in the big car park
Dan32
Think that was me Steve if it was the S4, 911, A4 convoy down the M25. You're definitely right about the lack of hi vis jackets. Scared me so must have been a real shock for the workman as we flashed past him!

I pulled over to let him past and could still hear him over my engine and the cd, which was up pretty loud. Awesome
