Losing wireless connection

For the last few days my computer keeps losing connection to my wireless linksys router WRT54GS which I've had installed for about a month now (I changed from BT to Telewest cable). Everything has been working fine up until Saturday but now it just randomly loses connection to the router... it disappears from the "available networks" list completely, although I can see all of the neighbours connections (all require a key! grin.gif)

I haven't changed any settings, installed software etc (although NOD 32 updates daily) so can't think what it might be. My computer is a Sony VAIO A115Z, router is Linksys WRT54GS.

Any ideas chaps? 169144-ok.gif

It's probable that your neighbours wireless router is using the same wireless channel as yours, or one close to yours.

In the setup of your router, try changing the wireless channel to something else (many routers come preconfigured as channel 6) and if it is interference then it should stop 169144-ok.gif
